How RackLaunch works
A rack is a Token-2022 token on a Meteora bonding curve. Two programs run it: rack_core routes every curve trade and keeps the rack's books, and rack_firewall — a transfer hook — rejects any transfer into or out of the curve vaults that did not come through the router. The load fee cannot be skipped.
01 · Billing cycles
Every 24 hours anyone can close the rack's billing cycle. The program reads the cycle's buy and sell volume, the number of distinct wallets (trades ≥ 0.05 SOL) and the price move straight from its own counters and the pool — no oracle — and picks the next load. Rules are checked top-down:
02 · Fees by load
| load | buy | sell |
|---|---|---|
| IDLE | 2.00% | 2.00% |
| ONLINE | 2.50% | 2.50% |
| OVERCLOCK | 1.20% | 1.20% |
| OVERHEAT | 2.00% | 4.50% |
0.25% of each fee is the curve's own pool fee, claimed back into the same split.
03 · Where the fee goes
- Lessors35% + OVERHEAT surcharge
- Turbo reserve30%
- Operator20%
- Platform15%
If nobody leases, the lessor share goes to the turbo reserve instead.
04 · Leasing
Lease tokens to the rack for 1, 7 or 30 days (weight ×1, ×1.5, ×2.5). Rent accrues per unit of weight on every booked fee, and you can claim it any time. After the term, release returns your tokens. Topping up re-locks the whole position for the new term — the lock never gets shorter. If a rack is decommissioned, every lease unlocks immediately.
05 · Turbo
When a rack enters OVERCLOCK, 60% of its turbo reserve is committed to 8 buy-and-burn bursts, one every 3 hours, each with a slippage guard. The keeper fires them but cannot do anything else with the reserve: on-chain it can only buy within the budget and burn what it bought.
06 · Graduation
When the curve fills, Meteora migrates the liquidity to a DAMM v2 pool (fee 3%) and removes the transfer hook — the token trades everywhere from then on. All LP belongs to the rack's reserve PDA and is locked forever; its fees keep flowing into the same split, so lessors keep earning. Cycles continue with volumes attested by the keeper and the price read on-chain.
